Memberships
- The amount is debited automatically from your account every 30 days
- You need to get a membership for a min of three months
- If you go away and need to extend your renewal date:- You need to email us at least 7 days before your membership is due to renew- You need to extend your membership for a minimum of 7 days- You can extend your membership a maximum of 4 times a year- When on a membership you can do extra classes for only $18 per classDon’t hesitate to let us know if you are under financial pressure and need a discount. We are happy to help.
Private classes
- To be paid beforethe class starts
- To cancel a private class with Carole text her on 0407 482 299 or email her at baillargeon.carole@gmail.com
- You will be charged 100% of the class fee if you cancel 24 hours or less before the class is due to start (except under exceptional emergency circumstances)
New student offers (Beginners Course, 1 month and 2 week unlimited)
- You can only take each of these offers once
- No refunds, transfers, or extensions
Workshops & special events
- In the case of exceptional emergency circumstances preventing you from attending a workshop or special event, Darwin Yoga Space will consider each case individually if a request for a refund is made via email to office@darwinyogaspace.com
- If a refund is deemed appropriate 50% of the amount paid will be refunded
- No Refund will be made for failure to complete an event
YOGA HOLIDAYS AND RETREATS

- A cancellation made:
– more than 60 days before the start of the event will result in a refund minus a 10% admin fee
– less than 60 days before the start of the event will result in a refund minus a 20% cancellation fee
- Less than 2 days before the start of the event will result in no refund unless under exceptional emergency circumstances. Darwin Yoga Space will consider each case individually. If a refund is deemed appropriate 50% of the amount paid will be refunded.
- Failure to attend a workshop or event without a valid reason, or to complete a workshop or event will result in loss of payment

Refund & Cancellation
Cancellation by Participant
Due to the planning, venue commitments, and upfront costs associated with organising retreats, the following cancellation policy applies:
- More than 90 days before the retreat start date:
Payments are refundable minus a non-refundable deposit of AUD $500 per person. - 90–60 days before the retreat start date:
50% of the total retreat price is refundable. - 60–30 days before the retreat start date:
25% of the total retreat price is refundable. - Less than 30 days before the retreat start date:
No refund will be issued.
All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing by email.
Transfer of Booking
If a participant is unable to attend, the booking may be transferred to another person nominated by the participant as long as this person has not already booked the retreat. The replacing person will be approved subject to approval by the organiser and provided the replacement meets any retreat requirements.
Participant Responsibility
Participants must obtain comprehensive travel insurance, including coverage for cancellation due to illness, injury, travel disruption, or other unforeseen circumstances. You will be required to give us your travel insurance details.
Cancellation by the Organiser
If the retreat must be cancelled by the organiser due to circumstances beyond our control (including insufficient registrations, venue issues, or force majeure), participants will receive:
- A full refund of payments made to the organiser, or
- The option to transfer the payment to a future retreat.
The organiser is not responsible for additional expenses incurred by participants such as flights, travel arrangements, or insurance.
Early Departure / Non-Attendance
No refunds will be given for unused portions of the retreat, including late arrival or early departure.
Yoga Retreat Terms & Conditions
- Booking and Acceptance
A booking is confirmed once the required deposit has been received and written confirmation has been issued by Darwin Yoga Space.
The organiser reserves the right to decline any booking where participation may not be appropriate for health, safety, group cohesion or operational reasons.
- Deposit and Payment Schedule
A non-refundable deposit of AUD $500 per person is required to secure a place on the retreat.
This deposit is non-refundable under any circumstances.
The balance is due no later than 90 days prior to the retreat commencement date.
Failure to make final payment by the due date may result in cancellation of the booking and forfeiture of monies paid.
- Participant Cancellation
All cancellation requests must be made in writing.

When applicable the refunds will be given for circumstances such as unpredictable Illness or injury and serious work or family emergencies.
No refund will be given for:
- Change of mind
- Visa issues
- Flight cancellations
- Weather disruptions
- Failure to obtain travel documents
- Travel Insurance
All participants must hold the details of their valid comprehensive travel insurance covering:
- Overseas medical expenses
- Emergency evacuation
- Trip cancellation
- Personal liability
- Loss of personal belongings
Proof of travel insurance must be received by Darwin Yoga Space no later than the date your final balance payment is due.
- Retreat Cancellation by Organiser
The organiser reserves the right to cancel a retreat due to:
- Insufficient participant numbers
- Natural disasters
- Government restrictions
- Venue unavailability
- Safety concerns
- Force majeure events
If a retreat is cancelled by the organiser, participants will receive a refund of monies paid to the organiser minus the $500 non refundable deposit.
- Force Majeure
The organiser shall not be liable for failure to perform obligations due to circumstances beyond reasonable control including:

The organiser is not responsible for:
- Airfares
- Visa costs
- Travel expenses
- Additional accommodation
- Other consequential losses
- Health Declaration
Participants acknowledge that yoga, meditation, movement classes and retreat activities involve physical activity and inherent risks.
Participants confirm that:
- They are physically and mentally fit to participate.
- They will inform the organiser of any relevant medical conditions.
- They have obtained medical advice where necessary.
The organiser may refuse participation in activities where safety concerns arise.
- Assumption of Risk
Participants voluntarily assume all risks associated with:
- Yoga practice
- Exercise and movement activities
- Excursions
- Swimming
- Hiking
- Outdoor activities
- International travel
Participation is entirely at the participant’s own risk.
- Release and Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the organiser, retreat leaders, employees and contractors shall not be liable for:
- Injury
- Illness
- Death
- Property damage
- Theft
- Losses arising from travel disruptions
The organiser’s total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by the participant for the retreat.
Nothing in these Terms excludes rights that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.
- Independent Activities
Participants who choose to engage in activities not organised by the retreat do so entirely at their own risk.
This includes but is not limited to:
- Scooter rental
- Motorbike use
- Independent sightseeing
- Adventure activities
- Private tours
- Hiking excursions
- Boat excursions
- Third-Party Suppliers
Accommodation providers, transport operators, guides and excursion providers are independent contractors.
The organiser is not responsible for the acts, omissions or negligence of third-party providers.
- Accommodation
Where accommodation is included in the retreat price, rooms are allocated in the order bookings are confirmed.
Earlier bookings will receive priority in the allocation of the most desirable available rooms within their selected accommodation category.
Room allocation is at the sole discretion of Darwin Yoga Space.
Photographs and descriptions of rooms shared with the participants are indicative only.
The organiser reserves the right to substitute accommodation of a comparable standard where necessary.
Roommate requests will be accommodated where possible but cannot be guaranteed.
- Retreat Program Changes
The organiser reserves the right to modify:
- Teachers
- Schedules
- Excursions
- Venues
- Activities
Changes may occur due to weather, safety concerns or operational requirements.
No refund shall arise from reasonable program modifications.
- Dietary Requirements
Dietary requirements should be advised at the time of booking.
Reasonable efforts will be made to accommodate dietary preferences and allergies; however, full accommodation cannot be guaranteed.
Participants remain responsible for managing their own dietary needs and allergies.
- Photography and Media
During the retreat, photographs and videos may be taken for promotional purposes.
By participating, participants grant permission for their image to be used in marketing materials unless written notice is provided before the retreat begins.
- Personal Property
Participants are responsible for their own belongings.
The organiser accepts no responsibility for loss, theft or damage to personal property.
- Travel Documentation
Participants are solely responsible for obtaining:
- Valid passports
- Visas
- Vaccinations
- Entry permits
- Travel documentation
Failure to obtain required documentation does not entitle the participant to a refund.
- Participant Conduct
The organiser is committed to creating a safe, respectful and inclusive environment.
Participants whose behaviour is disruptive, abusive, unsafe or inappropriate may be asked to leave the retreat.
No refund will be provided in such circumstances.
- Privacy
Personal information collected during the booking process will be used solely for retreat administration and communication and handled in accordance with applicable privacy laws.
- Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Northern Territory of Australia in which the organiser’s business is registered.
Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of the Northern Territory of Australia.
- Acceptance of Terms
By paying a deposit or making a booking, participants acknowledge that they have read, understood and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
